If we read a lot of books in the right order, at the right time, our efforts can earn us one of those flat hats with a nifty tassel.
We also have books on how to make hats: yarn, straw, or paper - take your pick.
And who can deny the success of Dr. Seuss and his cat, or Alice and her Mad Hatter?
Cowboys, presidents, orphans, snowmen, princesses...they all have hats. Kind of makes me want a hat, but not quite like these guys...

What a unique and creative way to promote your own book!! I know I'd probably buy an author's book if he or she took the time (and faced the embarrassment) to make and wear it as a hat, LoL!
Wow. If that's the new fashion, I have a ton of books to wear. ;)
Love it! Absolutely love it!
High fashion!
You know at the next PTA meeting I should were one of these and when people start to stare I'll just say..." It's the latest thing....jealous?!!!"
Blessings, Joanne
I think you just gave me a brilliant new idea for book reports in my classroom. Thanks, M.
I like the first picture on the left; that's creative! I never thought of fashion and books to be in one sentence together, LOL!
Hilarious! I'd love to stand next to the lady in the green dress during my morning subway ride! :)
I've never seen pictures like these before--pretty creative! Books made of hats, instead of about hats. Nice.
Wow! Those hats are pretty cool. I especially love the first one.
Cool hats!
Love that last hat! I want!
How fun! Gives a whole new meaning to putting on your writer's hat.
