Pony Poo Boy Strikes Again

Remember when I told you about that boy who drew a picture of pony poo for my birthday? Well, I'll tell you another story about him...

I only play in the snow once a year, but when I was ten I played in the snow every chance I got, to the point that my fingers and toes buzzed and burned as they came back to life when I went back inside.

I remember the silence of the snow: no birds, no cars, no neighbors rustling in their yards - just the crunch of my boots, packing down the powder, plus that cold, wet smell, not quite like rain.

Pony poo boy was playing in the snow with me and his sister, but he wouldn't tell us what he was making. I think I was working on an igloo, one plastic container at a time. I wish I could say that I finished, but I couldn't figure out how the Eskimo's made it curve at the top. My igloo looked like a box with three walls and no roof.

When I came out of my creation, there was a toilet in my front yard. I stared for a long time. If you make a toilet out of snow, it looks real, except that boy's toilet handle wasn't quite right. Everything else looked like smooth, white porcelain. I wonder if anyone took a picture.

What's the most unique thing you've made out of snow?

Now that Christmas is over, it's nice to be back to my regular blog post schedule. Today, I'll share a photo of my writing space. Have a great week, everyone!

Your writing space looks so inviting. Why does everyone's space look more productive than mine. Is it really that organized?

Hi Michelle,
I'm slowly getting back into blogging. I hope to be more asiduous once the new year's festivities are over. WOW! Your writing space is impeccable! Wish mine were the same :(
Regarding your snow story, I don't play much in the snow. We don't have a good relationship, the snow and I ;) I do like to watch it from inside my house, especially when is falling and everything is untouched, pure white.
Happy New Year! I'll see you in the blogosphere soon.

I actually did get a roof on my igloo and then it collapsed. We did once make an 8' snowman. Had to use plywood as a ramp to get the head on :)
Now that writing space looks WAY to clean for me to be in. I have to dust the dust in mine :D

Next week I'll be back to a real schedule.

Pony poo boy cracks me up.

I made a snow dog once, but really it looked kinda like a lump of snow with something that might have resembled a tail if you squinted at it. hahaha

Your work space is so clean! And how amazing that kid thought to make a toilet--and do it so well. It's amazing to me what kids can come up with their creativity is set free.

I hope you're having a great holiday, Michelle! :o)

Your writing place is so clean! I'm impressed. =)

Pony Poo Boy frightens me a little. He made a toilet out of snow? At least he is creative. =D

I'm totally uncreative with snow. Do snow angels and snowballs count?

I love your writing space. I need to clean mine.

Pony Poo Boy is clearly a fantastic lateral thinker and a future world leader.

I've barely made anything out of snow--I've only seen it three times! You don't get any in the part of Australia where I live. My snow angels weren't unique and my snowman was wonky, but I was as excited as any kid, I promise you that!
