The most interesting place I've lived is the Phillipines. Not such a great place to visit, let alone live there. My husband was a new officer in the AF on a remote duty assignment, and I tagged along with our 6-month-old son. The women wouldn't leave him alone. He hated getting his fair skin pinched and not being able to walk (once he learned) without getting scooped up and carried. The PI was very poor, but the reefs were enchanting to dive, and the people very friendly where we were. Okay, I enjoyed my time there, but I don't miss those cold showers & I wanted to kiss the ground when we got home.Sher A.
